About me

Hello, I’m Jeannetta, a modern portrait and lifestyle photographer based in Baltimore, Maryland.

Born and raised in Maryland, I attended the McDonogh School and Loyola University of Maryland, where I was a member of the Women’s Soccer Team.  I always dreamed of moving out-of-state to experience somewhere new, but met my husband Matt while at Loyola and we married in 2009.  Since then, we’ve settled near family and friends in the Downtown Baltimore neighborhood of Canton. 

I specialize in child, maternity, and newborn photography but also love to capture families and all the other special little moments in life than can fly by so quickly.  While I love Canton, and the vibrant scenes of the “Charm City”, I spent my childhood playing in the woods and farms of beautiful Carroll County, which always seems to find their way back into my photography.

I truly love everything about photography, from planning your session with you to ensure you have memorable images you’ll adore; to bringing out the special uniqueness of you and your family at your session; and then to the process of adding my unique, artistic touch to your final images.

When I don’t have a camera in my hand, I am playing with my darling Golden Doodle Dakota, reading a best seller on my Kindle, singing too loudly and dancing terribly to pop music, attending a Ravens game after tailgating in Lot H, or simply hanging out with family and friends.
